Those are official Department of the Army “clearing houses” for online education.
None are easy. If it’s a degree worth having then it’s a challenge to get it.
That said, if you’re planning on staying on active duty while you get the degree then you really can’t beat The Big Three for cost, flexibility, and a military-friendly attitude.

Thomas Edison State College – http://www.tesc.edu
Charter Oak State College – http://www.cosc.edu
Their first big advantage over all others is that they don’t have that pesky “you have to take 30 hours at our school” rule that everyone else has. It’s particularly pesky if you happen to get deployed or PCS in the middle of trying to meet the 30 hours.
Another huge advantage is that they use the ACE guides for military credit for schools and mos specifications. Depending on your MOS and training, you could already have a bunch done.
They are generous (no limits) with CLEP, DANTES, ECE exams and Uncle Sam lets you take those for free. If you have already learned a bunch of stuff or are good at preparing for exams then you might complete a huge piece of the degree that way at no cost.
They will transfer relevant course credit from any regionally accredited college. That means you can take your courses online from the best/cheapest place you can find or you can take them on some campus near you or you can combine both. You could take all of your lower levels at a community college (cheapest) and then transfer them into one of the Big Three for example.
Then, the biggest advantage, is degree requirement flexibility. This is a disadvantage to people that have to be told “take biology 101 then biology 102″ but works really well for people that can figure out “take 6 hours of lower level natural science” means you could take biology, chemistry, physics, combinations – whatever you want; as long as it’s 6 hours of natural science.
Give these a look and visit with the education officer on your base. These days you have a lot of options out there. Everyone and his brother teaches online.
